Many people think winter is not a good time to buy a new home. Typically spring and summer are the best buying and selling months. But knowing this can work to your advantage both if you are a buyer or a seller.
Buyers know that since it is the slow time of the market they may be able to get a better price. Sellers know that since it is the peak time for home sales there will actually be fewer homes on the market. For someone who wants to sell and someone who wants to buy this could actually be the perfect time to enter the market as there is not as much competition.
