Buying your Barrie Home

By BarriehomeRealty.com | October 18, 2007

Once you have chosen the Barrie home you want to buy, or any home in the greater surrounding Barrie area such as Byng Inlet, Georgian Bay, Horseshoe Valley, Kempenflet Bay, we recommend you hire a good real estate lawyer. It could be the best money you ever spend. While we as real estate agents do our very best to ensure the home you buy is as described and the offer to buy is as described we are not lawyers and are therefore not qualified to ensure this in the detail your lawyer can.

Barrie

By Graham: 705-791-3735 | September 12, 2007

Barrie Ontario Canada, less than 20 years ago the population was 40,000. At this time it is one of the fastest growing communities in North America. At present the population of Barrie is over 140,000 people. This does not include the areas around Barrie that have grown at a similar rate. Looking at Barrie’s present rate of growth it is not hard to imagine the growth patterns in the next 10 years. It is not unlikely that in 10 years you will not be able to distinguish Barrie from the communities skirt the city limits now.

Barrie is predominantly a residential area with light industry and retail commercial outlets. Barrie has been gearing up over the last few years to encourage new business to the area. With its incredible water front, abundant local golfing in the summer, and endless skiing opportunities in winter, it is not hard to realize the draw Barrie has for both young and old alike.
