Tips for Negotiating Your Barrie Home Purchase
In negotiating your Barrie real estate deal some people forget courtesy and common sense. Here are three courtesy or common sense suggestions:
Do not insult the seller. Some people think they will get a better price if they do this. In reality there is a good chance the seller will refuse to sell to you. Treat the seller with the same respect you would appreciate.
Everyone wants to get the best deal, you, as well as the seller. this really isn’t the best time for a Win-Lose scenario. Try to negotiate a deal that is mutually agreeable. there is much more good will involved and the deal is much more likely to proceed, or proceed with pleasant consequences.
Remember you do not have to make a deal. If there is something you don’t like about the situation, if you feel uneasy, maybe it is time to reconsider. Do not purchase unless you really want the home.

Buying your Barrie Home
By BarriehomeRealty.com | October 18, 2007
Once you have chosen the Barrie home you want to buy, or any home in the greater surrounding Barrie area such as Byng Inlet, Georgian Bay, Horseshoe Valley, Kempenflet Bay, we recommend you hire a good real estate lawyer. It could be the best money you ever spend. While we as real estate agents do our very best to ensure the home you buy is as described and the offer to buy is as described we are not lawyers and are therefore not qualified to ensure this in the detail your lawyer can.

School House for Sale
By Graham: 705-791-3735 | September 11, 2007

The schoolhouse located in Byng Inlet hosts history and romance. The structure was built in 1903 and has seen the town go from being the second largest lumber mill town, to being a ghost town. The once thriving lumber mill has now all but vanished. The town has been virtually abandoned, but has revived itself into an up and coming tourist and recreational area. At one time The Group of Seven stayed in the white house next door, but now there is only a memory of that time that lingers in the present. Perched on the highest point in town, the school house has and continues to watch over the events that have formed and continue to form the town of Byng.
